The American Tightrope - The 60's President:

So, considering Lumine's 1972 game, (of which I will continue to be a part of) is still in progress, unless this gains traction, I will probably not do anything on it until Lumine's/Tforth's games finish. This is just an idea that I thought would be fun to do at some point. If anyone would be interested in this please let me know.

We all have really stressful schedules, so this is a casual game. Extensions are completely fine, and I will hopefully not ask too much of y'all.

Republican Nomination:

Fmr. Gov and Sen. Leverett Saltonstall (R - MA) - Bigby

Vice President Richard M. Nixon (R - CA) - Darthebearnc

Gov. Nelson Rockefeller (R - NY) - - OPEN

Sen. Barry Goldwater (R - AZ) - Spiral

Democratic Nomination:

Sen. John F. Kennedy (D - MA) - OPEN

Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson (D - TX) - OPEN

Sen. Stuart Symington (D - MO) - Kingpoleon

Gov. Adlai Stevenson (D - IL) - OPEN

Sen. Hubert Humphrey (D - MN) - Ypestis25

Sen. Wayne Morse (D - OR) - OPEN

Sen. George Smathers (D - FL) - Lumine

Sen. Estes Kefauver (D - TN) - Intell

You may choose candidates not on this list,. Please PM or put below who you are choosing. I don't really want like fringe candidates or people not eligible to become President in 1960. Ex: HILLARY CLINTON WAS ALIVE THEN!!!1111one!

God, these are eventually going to kill me, but I'm too addicted.

I'll be Nixon.

LOL, Agreed. This one is just going to be a casual game so no real pressure on dates, unless they get a little too out of hand. And Nixon is yours.

I've PM'd you about joining as Leverett Saltonstall.

You're up on the board, Governor/Senator.

I'm getting rid of him, I was doing it as a What-If idea. I decided against it.

I would like to play as Goldwater if this gets started, although I think we should wait until Lumine's 1972 game gets to the general election so that most of the players from the primary can be free.

Personally I'm very interested in a dark horse or regional democratic candidate, but I'm not particularly enthusiastic about the current list (except perhaps Wayne Morse). Are there any other OTL or not candidates available for that party?

You're welcome to anyone you want. These are OTL candidates that I did just as help to guide people wanting to play.

Also, why is Intell down as George Smathers? It looks like he wants to be Estes Kefauver.
