Horrible Rep. - Hank Johnson

He thinks Islands can capsize due to overpopulation.

I'm happy with Don Beyer (VA-8).  Smiley

The guy with the proud distinction of being one of the only people to have lost an election to Jim Gilmore.

Virginia in 1997 was a very different place.

True, true. It's trend was (and still is) amazing. I wonder whether it will eventually slow or if it will someday become a Maryland-eqsue state politically.

I've heard nothing but good things about Rep. David Joyce, but then again I haven't done a ton of research on him. He seems to be from the sanity wing of the GOP, and I've never heard him make dumb or inflammatory statements. I think I might vote for him when he runs again.

Hey there, I'm right from the district next door! Dave Joyce is a pretty moderate Republican, keeping in line with the recent history of that seat.

John Moolenaar (R-MI4)

Pretty good, solid conservative.  Everyone who knows him seems to think he's a genuinely good guy, and he hasn't done anything egregious on the policy front yet.

Paul Ryan is terrible. Its actually taken me an embarrassingly long time to realize that. I looked past his god-awful foreign policies for a while for his budgetary issues, and yet on that he's been so unimpressive during the Obama era that I won't support him ever again assuming he doesn't change.

I have a reasonably high opinion of Congressman Gibson. He's considerably above average - and thoughtful.
