Background: The Pacific Council recently passed the "Getting Rid of Bad Laws Act of 2015" (GRBLA), which seeks to change the Pacific Motto from "In Rocky We Trust" to "In God We Trust", add a statement affirming that life begins at conception to the Pledge of Allegiance, and restore the names of Sodom and Gomorrah, CA.

Text of the Bill:

Not a Pacific citizen, but here's my two cents:

Section 2 is alright. No objection there.

Section 1 is problematic, because even though I am pro-life, I don't think it belongs in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Section 3...is trying to change the names of California towns to Sodom and Gomorrah?

Changing it from Sodom and Gomorrah to it's former names.

Oh, okay. In that case, I fully support Section 3.

So it's really only Section 2 that's iffy. Otherwise, I'd be fine with this if I was a Pacific citizen.

Option 4, obviously. I just on a basic level don't understand the psychology of or agree with the people who want to do this sort of thing. Like, what's the point? It really skirts the line constitutionally as well, but my lawsuit days are pretty much over. Too busy.

It's sad to see the hard work many people over the years put into attempting to revive the Pacific being thrown away by the neo-nazi junta of Classic Conservative and Wulfric (literally the legislature), with poor Simfan as their puppet king.

The region needs a coup. Me and DemPGH need to wake up Tyrion and PJ and head west.

I'd argue that the current government lacks democratic legitimacy to the absurdly low turnout in recent elections.

In fairness, the Religious Freedom Act is a pretty bad law that we should get rid of.  Unfortunately this bill merely replaces it with a worse one.

"Getting Rid of Bad Laws and Replacing Them With Unconstitutional Gibberish,"I guess, would be a better title.

Yeah, we're approaching a time when a Pacific Restoration is in order!

I'm also swearing an oath at this time to keep abortion legal this can go both sides and also I'm not changing the oath at all I'm doing what I believe in and you can do what you believe in the Council passed the Admendment and the PEOPLE will vote for it, there's many laws that I disagree with in the Pacific and you probably disagree with certain laws too. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

The People = you, Simfan, maybe Wulfric? Turnout in the last election (for ConCon delegate) was literally two votes. Don't get on a high horse about THE PEOPLE.
