I still love him because of his emphasis, and that he still loves and deeply respects people who disagree with him.

And picks Kim Davis of all people as 'strong'.

Vatican confirms the meeting happened.

I'm surprised how little I care about this. I think everyone's going to see in this Pope what they want to see and need to see, and that's ok.

Kim Davis has done everyone a favour. Her posturing highlighted to many indifferent people how ludicrous 'religious exemption' (which has gained an over importance in comparison to other matters of conscience) can become in many day to day situations. Now she's got people finally thinking a little more about the Pope's posturing too.

Giving people unearned 'respect' results in an abuse of power. We should be more critical of authority, whether it's the Pope with his 'power' and Kim Davis with hers.
