If you could car bomb one dictator out there who would you choose? I would prefer someone who has such tight control over the regime that his (or her Tongue) absence would provoke a power vacuum.

Hard to say.  I'd say that I would certainly not miss Kim Jong-Il, but I could conceive of more insane people in his place.

Kim Jong Il is a tempting target,  but only if we could be reasonably certain that his replacement would be saner.  The sad thing about the DPRK is that I don’t think that we can automatically assume that.

I think we can be sure they would be saner, but that would not necessarily be better.

I think I'll go with Mugabe. Jong-Il's replacement wouldn't neccesarily be any better, and the same is true for most other dictators, but Mugabe's regime is fairly weak and a very well organized opposition.

He's not a dictator, just a very terrible, utterly worthless president who can't do sh**t right.

Of course Jake mentioned a non-dictator. Chavez isn't a dictator, regardless of if you like him or not. Is Chirac a dictator?

Just like Saddam's elections were fair right? And Putin's elections? Yeah, go back into your echo chamber.

glad to see someone in agreement.

The worst thing about him is that after ousting the white-minority regime, he could've actually turned Zimbabwe into a rather prosperous country, as it has some of the best farm land in the world, and seriously made life better for the blacks. Instead he's turned it into a gigantic sh**thole just to make a profit for himself and his cronies.

Jaques Chirac, or whomever "really" runs the European Union.  Europe's turning against us and most of the American populace is blind to it.

Um, unless Europe is going to become violent towards you, how does that justify killing their leader(s)?

what's wrong with Mubarak?

Lukashenko is another one where taking out one person might actually cause some change.
