Presuming Kasich doesn't win, what happens?

Does Mary Taylor win and choose Mike Duffey or Frank LaRose as her running-mate? Does Kasich become Ohio's next Voinovich?

You can do as many scenarios as you like. Personally, I prefer this one for if Kasich becomes President:

Senate:
Gov. Mary Taylor: 51.1%
Sen. Sherrod Brown: 48.7%

Governor:
State Rep. Mike Duffey(R-Worthington)/State Sen. Frank LaRose(R-Copley Township): 55.7%/49.5%
National Rep. Tim Ryan(D-Niles)/City Councilman P. G. Sittenfeld(D-Cincinnati): 44.1%/49.2%

What do you think happens?

I've heard some Republicans at RRH float the idea of a DeWine revenge Senate run in 2018.
