I hate to quote Breitbart, but outside of various right-wing sites, I can't find any coverage of this.

I don't think I can take Republican presidential candidates seriously anymore. I'll still be happy to talk about their chances, though. I expect this will play well with a chunk of the Trump-flavored crowd, and also with the dumber pro-military voters. What percentage of the GOP primary vote those make up... I'm not sure, but perhaps as high as 50%? (They'll be overlap with other high-profile issues, of course, but I think this can help bring her poll numbers up a bit.)

P.S. I'm guess that her additional claim that Obama and Kerry (and presumably by extension the entire US government and military) have been surprised by Russian maneuvers along our borders (that have been going on at least since Ukraine heated up) is another one of her lies. Not going to bother to check, she's not worth the time.

No, this doesn't play well with a chunk of the Trump-flavored crowd.

What she says is madness. Her additional claim that Obama and Kerry have been surprised by Russian maneuvers is stupid or naive, take your pick.

Not going to bother to check, she's not worth the time.

Because a war between the US and Russia is exactly what the world needs.

Florina from the quote did not say quite what the headline to this thread says. She didn't say shoot, she said be prepared to shoot.

Snarly Carly needs to shut up and go home. Aren't her fifteen minutes up yet?

Trump was right all along: Look at that face!
Is that's your response?, using quotations to make your point...I forgot. What's your point again?
I would suggest this, Fiorina's solution might not be a rational one. But considering the thuggish behavior which Putin habitually engages in, I would seriously consider a military option. Putin lied to the international community and using ISIS as a rationale for intervention in the Syrian crisis, was nothing but a rope-a-dope gambit, to enable Russia to militarily support the Assad regime and exterminate the rebels and not ISIS. So all bets would be off in my book.

If you think Putin intervened without the green light from Obama, you live on another planet.

I never had any doubts about Obama's position regarding Putin's intervention, which doesn't change the fact, another President and not Trump, but say "Snarly" Carly, or Marco or Jeb would fit the bill just fine in my book, by being able to actually "man up" and use military responders to address the Russian intervention in Syria.

Never let the actual quotes get in the way of the narrative I guess.

How is that "not quite" what she said?

Fiorina wants a policy that will lead to direct confrontation with the Russians. And she's said she would shoot their aircraft down if Russia does not back down. She is speaking in support of shooting down Russian planes over Syria - she is quite literally advocating that policy.

By her words, she is the most reckless and dangerous of all candidates running.  Reckless, because of her actual advocacy of war with Russia.  Dangerous because of her excellent communication skills.

Donald Trump is the fourth person of the Godhead compared to Fiorina.  That's how bad she is.  Ted Cruz is moderate and reasonable compared to Fiorina.

Fiorina is becoming increasingly ridiculous on foreign policy.

"Green-light" is a strong phrase. The USA had the heads up of course but I highly doubt Putin asked Obama for permission.

... Does she mean to do that if we have a no-fly zone?

This is called enforcing a no-fly zone.
