I find it kind of amusing that most of the people who attack her are basically guilty of the same things she is attacked for, only far worse. So in light of that and foreign election insight, FF.

Her feud with ag is actually kind of odd in that sense, both of them are usually correct about what they accuse the other of, but they are both still very valuable posters for completely different reasons unrelated to those criticisms. It's quite rare to see such a feud, usually such posters are attacked by either very uptight people or out and out trolls.

A person, as Xahar not wrongly observed, with several deeply unpleasant characteristics and a handful of personally objectionable views, but whose insight and frequently incredibly comprehensive contributions-- particularly in regards to the politics of overlooked and the downright obscure parts of the world-- are without equal on this board and, formal academics aside, far surpass that of any person I know.

Disagree with her all you want-- I certainly do, all the time-- but she is without a doubt one of the pillars on which this forum stands. Even the AAD clique agrees that International Politics and Elections are the best parts of this forum, and her contributions in those areas are simply impossible to discount.

Is politcus under some kind of stress? Threatening posters with physical harm or stalking is a very serious matter, and cannot stand. Surely politicus knows that. We've had a recent precedent.
