If we judge Clinton's presidency by all of his achievements up to October 1999 to be fair, who comes off as the better President - Clinton or Obama?

Bill Clinton by a mile, we have a surplus, unemployment was very low, we were not in any major wars. Actually worked with the GOP Congress who outright never liked him.

Under Obama we're still in Afghanistan and somewhat in Iraq, our debt has skyrocketed under him, wages are stagnant, refuses to work with Congress and instead do things by Ex Actions.

It's a really sad indictment of this forum and the quality of political debate generally that Bill Clinton's disastrous Presidency, which is chiefly remembered for a stock market bubble and countless embarrassing personal scandals, is considered "better" than Barack Obama's tenure by anyone.

Obama is a great man and a great president, who has made the best with a disasterous hand. Clinton is a creep who managed to almost screw up a pretty good economic situation by being so incompetent.
