We all know that Reagan/Hoover is a false dichotomy (these men here are both clearly better).

Who is the best?

The one that isn't an anti-Mormon war criminal (Warren)

But the correct options are Hiram Johnson and Goodwin Knight.

Earl Warren for this very reason.

America has much to thank for a man who enabled women to have access to a higher level of reproductive freedom and control over their bodies.

Voted Fremont, although RFayette makes a strong case for Warren.

Uh, what? Huh

Warren had absolutely no part in Roe v Wade. He had been retired for 4 years when the SCOTUS examined it.

He was referring to precedents.

Well, in addition to his great court rulings, it easily puts him over Fremont.

Warren was miles ahead of Fremont in terms of competence, but both were good men.
