I Wanna Get Into Fallout

My kids love 'em, but I've only ever played the new smart phone game...it's not bad.

I played Fallout 3 on PS3 and it wasn't very good.

I played Fallout 3 on PC and it was good enough for me to log 74 hours on it.

Fallout is one of the series of games that is best on PC, if you're only willing to play games on console it's not going to be as good as it could have been but it still will be a decent game.

Shooters are ALWAYS better on PC.

(and 74 hours is nothing.  I don't know off top of head, and can't look it up (at work), but I've got many many hundreds of hours playing BF4.  And I've probably got 10 times as many hours played Civ4, but that's old and very different.)

Origin/EA/Dice/whatever keeps stats for BF2/3/4...not sure about '42.

How would you look it up?

my BF4 stats
836 hours....I should probably be a little embarrassed about that....but I'm not.  I'm a "worker", taking bases (nearly 11,000), killing chumps, dropping ammo or med packs for my teammates.  It hurts my k:d ratio....which is still a pretty damn good 1.62:1 considering how I work and how easy it is to die in the game.


I'm going to go play the Battlefront beta now (it's supposed to be starting like right now), I played the alpha too.  Being Vader is going to be awesome.

Never got to be Vader, but I was Luke twice.  That was fun.  Driving (piloting?) an AT-ST was fun.  Never got in AT-AT.  The serious lag for the first 3 or 4 minutes sucked, so did being a Stormtrooper/Rebel regular, but I don't have any of the fancy toys unlocked yet.
