A new Q poll shows him leading Hillary by 9. Of course this is early, and no one is going to win this State by 9. However, it got me thinking. Democrats win elections in Pennsylvania most of the time because of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. With Carson's inspiring, sympathetic backstory and message, could he perhaps sap enough of the PhillyPitts vote, and, combined with his strength with Pennsyltucky folk, win Pennsylvania for the GOP for the first time in 28 years?

Pennsylvania isn't going to vote for a republican that literally puts you to sleep when he's on the debate stage. Enough said.

The poll cited just underscores that Hillary is becoming a toxic candidate in many states.

No, it shows all of the attention is on the GOP race.

Yes. I think Carson will get a significant percent of the black vote (at least 20%, but probably 30%) which, combined with his popularity with the rural folk and the whites in general, will be enough for him to carry Pennsylvania.

I can't tell if this is performance art or a deluded piece of commentary.
