I'm kinda confused on the regionalists so I lumped them together.

I vote PSOE.

Voted Podemos, but would just as likely vote IU if they were better placed.

Most likely the PP, but maybe Cs depending on where I lived (say, Catalonia or the Basque Country, where the PP is likely to poll below Cs).

"Izquierda" is such an interesting word, though-- it bears no resemblance to the words for "left" in other Romance languages, and it just looks intriguing. Does it have a Basque etymology? It would explain the "z".

I'd vote PP, but wouldn't be really happy to do so. Spain truly needs a party to the right of PP.

PP is already one of the most rightist "mainstream" parties in the EU. That's why Vox has failed - there is simply no niche.

Anyway, tricky choice. pSOE is corrupt, C's is dreadful, upyD are centrists, IU are dinosaurs, the regionalists are greedy "GIV MONIE PLS" money grabbers and there is something vaguely creepy about Podemos.

Undoubtedly true, although the PP's particular form of "rightism" seems more connected to a very strong kind of populism than to policy. However, the fact that there is no real "electoral market" for a party to the right of the PP doesn't mean that such a party wouldn't be more suitable to my positions than PP, which is what this poll is about Wink

Actually, he is correct. According to an article I read, Izquierda, esquerda and esquerra (catalan) are pre-roman words and have a basque origin.

IU or podemos, although I don´t like Pablo Iglesias.

I plan to vote for the Basque Nationalist Party, as I always do. However, I'm moving to Mexico next month and won't be home for the election. I've heard that trying to vote from abroad is a nightmare, so I'm afraid I can't assure I will.

I'll likely vote for IU. Podemos, a party I actually supported for most of 2014 and until March-April of this year, has destroyed the social movements and the left in general (thus leaving the door open for the rising of Ciudadanos), and Pablo Iglesias is an egomaniac with about the same favorable ratings of the corrupt, inept President Rajoy; that is, about 25 fav/70 unfav. I can't vote for that. Oh, and he managed to organize a primary election that was less democratic than a North Korean election!

And some people still don't understand how Podemos is in a downfall in the polls...

There's an outside chance I could vote for PSOE (my former party), but that's very unlikely. If I vote PSOE, it'll [probably] be only to make sure that Eduardo Madina, who is 7th in the list of Madrid, gets elected. But that's a sure thing for now. As long as PSOE stays over 20% in the polls, Madina wil have no problems getting elected.

To be honest, if IU/Ahora En Común/Whichever name they chose completely collapses, I may cast a protest vote anyway for them, but there's a [very small] chance I'd vote Podemos or PSOE, yes.
