This bill aims to promote camaraderie between different schools. It also allow the schools to share their problems or offer solutions to their problems (like a town hall) and to discuss different school-related competitions that will be held in the Northeast.

How is this bill expected to deal with home-schooling?

aren't there, like, tens of thousands of schools in the northeast? this seems impractical.

Didn't notice the phrasing until now. I will revise the act Smiley

In it's current form, it still seems a little too impractical to work. Maybe make it more specific to just school heads of similar grade levels? Like all high school heads, middle school heads, etc.

As there has been no debating on this bill for the last week, I will extend the debating period for 24 hours before calling for a vote on RGN's amendment. If the amendment fails, I will move on to Clyde's amendment, and if that fails, on to Pikachu's amendment. It any amendment passes, we will have a final vote on the amended bill.

As there has been no debate on this bill for the previous 24 hours, I will end the period for debate and move to voting on RGN's amendment. Representatives have 24 hours to vote. If this amendment passes, we will vote on the final bill. If it fails, we will move on to Clyde's amendment.

rgn's amendment doesn't need a vote since he's the sponsor

Is that how this works? In that case, we'll move on to voting on Clyde's amendment.

Okay, practically what we're doing here is requiring superintendents to meet with other superintendents. The "head" of a public school is a superintendent.

I'll vote Yes on the amendment, but I'm undecided overall. If I do not offer an amendment I'll likely abstain at the end. There should be a point, objective, reason, etc., and I don't see that. Other than requiring MEETINGS. Tongue

I am not sure whether Representative Evergreen is on leave or not. If she is, then this amendment passes 2-0. If she is not, then she still has to vote.

Eitherway, it's going to pass now - as even if she votes against, it'll be 2-1 in favour.

The amendment has passed, 2-0.

We will now be voting on the final bill, with Clyde's amendment added. Representatives have 48 hours to vote.
