It really doesn't seem so to me.

Yeah, he was until the economy improved & the election started favoring Dems. Just like in 2012, Romney was viable until May of that year and the economy improved even then.

August was trash. You can't just generically say the economy has improved when literally nothing has changed since the race vegan. If anything, economic improvement should help establishment candidates in the primary anyway, wouldn't you think?

I'm starting to suspect that Jeb!'s status as a total joke candidate who is too lazy and aloof to actually run for President would become an issue even without Trump. it's probably why Rubio is in the race to begin with: Rubio has known Jeb! for decades and knows better than anyone else that Jeb! is a paper tiger.

Jeb has proven to be a dreadful candidate. But such the is peril the GOP could be wandering into, that he remains a viable option.

I do think Mikado is on to something here.

Trump exposed him for a fraud so no.
I think DeadPrez, haven't you got that assways?  A Trump supporter?  Figures!...playing fast & lose with the facts, no back up to statements or claims made....you are learning well from that blow-hard.  Trump is by far the biggest fraud that there is. He says or does anything to main viability.  I will tell you this, America is in deep trouble if it thinks that shylock will be an improvement over that nincampoop currently occupying the Oval Office. I mean people actually want a phony baloney misogynist egomaniac in the Oval Office?  Give me a break. Trump is a hack with a trophy wife bimbo. Look at that face and his dress sense is worse. Doesn't have a coherent idea on anything and thinks going bankrupt 4 times and indulging in name calling are qualities that qualify him to sit in the White House? 😁😂😃😑😂😂😂....that's hysterical if you think that DeadPrez😂😁. ...TRUMP IS A LOW-RENT FRAUD! it's all about him....you actually think he gives a fig about America or you for that matter. If so, maybe if you are that addled and stupid,  you shouldn't have the vote. Support someone who can lead and is not a Johnny come lately. Do yourself that favor!

Something like 90% of the US electorate hates the Republican establishment. So probably not.

If his numbers stay where they are at this time in January, then we can start planning the wake for his campaign.  Until then, he's fine.

Yes.  Someone with the $$$ and machine behind him/her is ALWAYS viable.  He's far from done and I still believe he's yet to play his cards.  I think the timing is critical to him. Now, get to early January...if he's where he is now, it's probably done.  He's got three months to make his move, but he's got the $$$ and establishment to do it.
