Obama has done everything he can to prevent Israel from attacking Iran and is the architect of the deal that makes this kind of thing possible. He's absolutely in on this.

As for your earlier point about "Taxes", I suppose Israel's role as the R&D man for the US military and the exclusive deals for new technology they provide the US with mean nothing.

Here's the thing - Israel isn't asking for money. Not as their primary need, anyway. They have a robust economy. They're not even asking for the US to defend them militarily. All they're doing is asking for the US to get out of the way and let them take care of their country.

There have been many reports that the US told Israel it would shoot down the planes if Israel launched a military strike against Iran. That's why Netanyahu reportedly vetoed the military option not long ago.

That gives the impression that the US values its diplomacy with Iran - a nation that continues to fund terror against US interests and hold US citizens hostage - over the security of Israel.
