I think one of two outcomes is likely:

1. The media has already decided that Bernie Sanders is the winner, and nothing that happens will change that narrative.

2. The media has convinced themselves that Bernie Sanders will have the performance of a lifetime and destroy Clinton hands-down. When he doesn't meet this standard, no matter how well he actually does, they declare him dead in the water and Clinton the presumptive nominee.

Last I checked Sanders should be center podium because he's 1 in the polls

Huh? They don't designate podium positions using only polls from New Hampshire.

"I'm a progressive who likes to get things done."

Unlike the gentleman speaking now, Hillary?

What has Sanders gotten done?

Here's a Politifact article on Sanders's honeymoon:

My TV interrupted Sanders's response with an Amber Alert. How ironic.

I missed all responses to this question except for Webb. Any good lines?

I can't wait for the speaking time and question aggregations after this.

I think Sanders and Clinton have gotten nearly every question and 85% of the speaking time.

Here's a chart of number of questions as of a few minutes ago. http://fivethirtyeight.com/live-blog/first-democratic-debate-election-2016/?#livepress-update-20182501

Chafee didn't kill his chances. They were already dead.

Make sure that tin foil hat isn't too snug there, Bernie.

Sanders lifting his last response straight from Lenin's "What is To Be Done?"

Just for the record, Hillary got the most new Facebook likes during the debate, but Webb was the one with the greatest percent increase.

Yes, but what about Chafee? Did his love for Facebook give him a boost?

Chafee only got a little over 300 new likes, but that's about a 3.4% increase for him over just a few hours, and actually puts him in 2nd overall for % increase.

My grades:

Clinton: A- some weird answers on pot and why she'd be different than Obama, but other than that a solid performance that made me proud to support her.

Sanders: B+ said exactly what his supporters wanted him to say, but I'm not sure how much he spread his appeal to undecideds, particularly on the issue of gun violence.

O'Malley: B- actually talked about policy, which was more than I was expecting from him. Not sure his polling will change any.

Webb: C- didn't look like he belonged or wanted to be on that stage, but didn't completely collapse.

Chafee: D- it couldn't have been much worse, but I suppose he got his name out there.
