I remember 5-10 years ago they were basically "all scene, all the time" in terms of their roster and only booked bands from very specific punk sub-genres and offshoots. Now look at the crap they're booking:

Metal: http://www.triplerocksocialclub.com/event/909625-belphegor-kataklysm-minneapolis
Disney Channel pop: http://www.triplerocksocialclub.com/event/980953-jojo-minneapolis/
A Tribute to Dimebag Darrell: performing Pantera's "Official Live: 101 Proof" in it's entirety: http://www.triplerocksocialclub.com/event/971235-tribute-dimebag-darrell-minneapolis
More metal: http://www.triplerocksocialclub.com/event/955925-nile-minneapolis
Hip-Hop: http://www.triplerocksocialclub.com/event/980909-tory-lanez-swavenation-tour-minneapolis/

What the f[inks] happened? Also this summer during their annual 4th of July fest I saw a (admittedly very hot) girl wearing a 5 Seconds of Summer shirt, though I suppose she could've just been trying to be "ironic" (full of tattoos and multi-colored hair streaks too)

She's had more than one-hit song. I think "Too Little, Too Late" was more popular.

They're probably just fulfilling a contract with a booking agency or something but it's still really weird.

I forgot I even made this thread and just ran across it.

This place closed last year and I miss it so much now. Sad

My previous self in 2015 was such an entitled douche.
