I had a dream about David Vitter immediately after he lost the election. Thanks Atlas!

Was he wearing a diaper?  Or nothing at all?

I had a strange dream last night that at a school photo (I'm not even at school anymore) I met Ted Kennedy, Harold Wilson, Mitt Romney and Bill Clinton

I had a dream two nights ago about visiting a club hosting a political event with my history professor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Hackett_Fischer where Marco Rubio was speaking before he got booed. The more unpleasant half of the dream was the second part where I was getting involuntarily groped by my professor.

I had a dream that I was president, all the bills on my desk were written in gibberish and I vetoed all of them.

Not really politically themed, but recently I had a dream that there were "Opinion of" polls about people in my family on Atlas.

Joe Republic (and other people) pointed out that my name was a postal code (?) of a town in Brazil called Figueira, so I changed my display name to that. Smiley

Not a dream as such, but I realised I had a problem when I was watching the music video for 'Love Shack' and thought to myself 'Fred Schneider looks vaguely reminiscent of Charles Haughey'.

Last night: It was election night and I followed the PA county by county results, so I dreamed the PA county map in a Clinton vs. Trump election. Trump won 23% in Philadephia County and won the suburban counties around Philadelphia while Clinton did surprisingly well in Western PA, winning several counties there. I was about to click on the FL map when my phone rang and I woke up.

Last night I had a nightmare in which NH was the first "swing state" called for Clinton on election night. She won the state by 9 points or more (54%-45% IIRC, winning every county). Clinton later went on to win the election, defeating Trump. The worst part of my dream was the Senate race: Maggie Hassan was projected the winner of the race, winning by 3 or 4 points (with the county map basically looking like NH-SEN 2014). NH also elected a Democratic governor, but I don't know who.

Lol, I guess it's time to take a break from the forum.

I had a dream where Trump picked himself as a running mate and Hillary picked some currently unknown rando. Hillary/Rando defeated Trump/Trump with 2012-FL map.

I once dreamt Martin O'Malley won the nomination, and I was at the convention but I was looking at the results on a tiny computer with tiny, bad font. All I remember in O'Malley won IA and NH and Bernie didn't exist.

Had another one where Kasich turned purple for some reason. These were a while back, but...

Had a dream where I wasn't able to vote in the GE because of work BS. I looked at the results later.

Basically a Clinton landslide, but with Ohio voting for Trump. I don't remember most of the specific states, but I do know Kentucky moved away from being south of Ohio to being south of Maine, which is one reason why it voted Dem.

The Ohio County map featured Cuyahoga, Hamilton, and Franklin counties voting ~90% D, rural counties voting ~90% R, and Summit and it's neighbors voting ~50% D or R. Turns out that I live in an area of powerful Polish influence and when I left to go to a county fair in rural western Ohio I found the area to be alien, backwards, and depressing. Like I was going back in time to a foreign country. Things I had previously associated with the American nation were actually the product of a Polish immigrant culture confined to a small region of Ohio.

This post made me laugh, these bits in particular.

No. Amazingly Trump has not caused me to have nightmares yet. It must be the pot or something.

I just had a weird dream where 2016 was a midterm (at least presumably, since nothing about the presidential race was in it at all.) It was like a strange mix of a Democratic wave and a Republican wave. Me and my friend were watching the election results on CNN. Here are some races I vaguely remember:

AZ: Kirkpatrick wins by a couple points
CO: Bennet wins in a landslide
FL: Lopez-Cantera barely wins. Also, Crist was the Democratic nominee somehow (PTSD?)
IL: Kirk wins by a couple points
MO: Kander wins in a landslide, but with only 45% of the vote. A Tea Party candidate (Akin?) gets 20%
NV: CCM Purple heart wins in a landslide
NH: Ayotte wins by a few points
PA: Toomey wins by 2...again
WA: Murray trails by a point with 90% in, but we breathe a sigh of relief when we realize most of the remaining vote is from King County
WI: Johnson wins by a few points
