It's getting ridiculous, but now the thinking appears to be leaning yes and definitely this weekend.

CLARIFICATION:
For

No - he'll announce at a later time [as in he'll announce that he's not running at a later time]

Any more thoughts?

I thought you were one of the long-standing "no" people around here. What made you change your mind?

No, and he may not even make a grand announcement. Why should he?

I've been in the No camp for a while but recently switched to Yes (still kind of teetering on the edge though) after a culmination of recent events. The two biggest things for me are his courting of the IAFF, and his team meeting with DNC officers about primary season info. Although he could still back out, it feels like everything we know points towards a run, with only supposed logic pointing against a run. Each time he has kicked the can down the road, it has been a long kick of several weeks, but now he is kicking down to within the next few days. I think we're going to be hearing very soon, possibly even starting tomorrow, about the confirmation and exact timing of his campaign announcement.

No, and he'll announce later because he's annoying.

I've been confident that Biden would enter since July and haven't wavered on it. The people who dismiss his chances by citing his low probability of winning are missing the point: Biden wants to be president and he might as well take a stab at running. He had to have known his chances in 2008 when he ran against Clinton and was stuck at 1-3% nationally. Back then, he was just an old white guy who had been in the Senate for decades. Now, being a two-term VP, at least he's in a better position than he ever was before. The other big consideration is the possibility that Clinton could collapse due to her legal issues, which would lead to the establishment rallying around him. Being the fallback option alone might be enticing enough for him to enter, so he might as well be in the mix in case anything like that happens.
