http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3277402/Smoking-gun-emails-reveal-Blair-s-deal-blood-George-Bush-Iraq-war-forged-YEAR-invasion-started.html

"A White House memo has revealed for the first time details of the ‘deal in blood’ forged by Tony Blair and George Bush over the Iraq War. The sensational leak shows that Blair had given an unqualified pledge to sign up to the conflict a year before the invasion started.
It flies in the face of the Prime Minister’s public claims at the time that he was seeking a diplomatic solution to the crisis."

(very sensationalist (it is the Daily Mail..), but basically accurate)

I don't think this is really news. He was gunning for a war as soon as him and GWB got in cahoots.

I've thought for a long time that he was committed to going along with Bush.  I never liked him, anyway: there's something about him I find really untrustworthy.

If they had put half the effort they were putting into fulfilling PNAC's dream of war with Iraq into preventing 9/11, PNAC wouldn't have gotten their "new Pearl Harbor". Bush and Blair are both traitors to their countries.

Actually, yes, it does. It's one thing to make a genuine mistake in the face of an uncertain situation. It's a very different thing to blandly follow a political ally regardless of the circumstances.

Just confirms what I think many already believed. Perhaps now the Guardian will stop printing his sage advice for Labour, but I doubt it.
