So this is a bit irrelevant, but I just learned that the former secretary at my elementary school is running for State Senate (she's currently on the county school board). It's pretty much guaranteed that she'll win considering the district leans heavily Republican, the incumbent is retiring, and she's already an elected government official.

I hate her so much.

Run against her in a few years when NC becomes fair districting

Dems are so good at redistributing they controlled the House for nearly forty years with just a few breaks from 1960 to 1994.
