Who does like Ted Cruz? He's an attention whore, an entitled brat who believes that everyone should take him at his word because he says something. He's accomplished nothing in the U.S. Senate and anyone can argue to the Supreme Court with the proper training and briefing.

By attention whore, do you mean guy who actually stands up for the principles that Texans elected him to represent? Sure, it's easier to blend in when you go to Washington and maintain the status quo, but Cruz is not the kind of guy to do that.

I might not like Cruz, but it's nice to see George Bush come out and shake things up between two established politicians. A rivalry between Jeb and Cruz would be much more interesting than Jeb arguing with Trump.

To be honest, I was wondering why he would just say something like this outright, but I had forgotten his brother was a candidate still. Not even kidding.

Very good on George to say it like it is. Maybe it will make the Cruz support will go to their second choice in Trump Wink

Texans also elected Jon Cornyn, he's a good conservative who actually tries to get things done. Ted Cruz likes giving speeches and interviews, he doesn't care about governing. Cruz is the worst kind of coward - he's afraid to govern.

No. Your bias is showing. Additionally, it's impossible to accomplish anything conservative in this senate.

Rand Paul and Marco Rubio have at least tried to get things done. Rand Paul has been serious about passing criminal justice reform, Marco Rubio at least tried to get immigration reform passed and is fighting for a better foreign policy everyday. Ted Cruz has not really tried in a serious way to pass legislation in areas in need of change

Ted Cruz is pretty distinctly unlikable, but George W. Bush is a horrible little man. It's so pathetic that his brother, daddy's favorite, is now forced to bring the family's Goofus because it turns out Gallant wasn't very smart either. And unlike Jeb or W., Cruz actually accomplished things in his life without having to beg daddy for help.

He gave us the most hilariously hypocritical public reading of Green Eggs and Ham in history. That's got to be worth something, right?

Maybe if he gets elected President (haha) he can read a new Dr. Seuss book to the nation every year instead of giving a State of the Union address.

As long as he isn't holding elected office, Dubya isn't so bad.

I think that a lot of people don't particularly care for Cruz and it's not even political, it seems as if he's just puts people off with his personality from what I've read.

TBF, Bush is probably better than Cruz who is the worst republican apart from Fiorina, Carson, Trump running. Huckabee isn't far behind though.

This will not help with the Free Republic crowd. They are already bashing Bush, some of them calling W. a RINO, and etc. They thought that he was a RINO already, but this time, they think that it is real.
