They are not rigged, but they can of course be bad and off (who knows ?). Besides, why would a poll from the exit pollster SORA be rigged ? It shows similar results than other pollsters, such as independent Gallup or Akonsult. And if they were rigged, wouldn't they show a VdB-lead instead (the state-TV ORF, for which SORA polls, after all had a wild dispute with Hofer in the pre-election debate) ?

Two points are nothing. It's within the margin of error.

I expect the real Austrian Hofer to win handily against the elitist VdB.

By the way, when I offered a Hillary-Trump bet to my friends, there were many takers, but when I offered a Hofer-VdB bet to a friend of mine who has businesses in Austria (the only Hillbot among my friends), he refused.

Would you please explain why you think this poll is rigged ?

There is no indication that Austrian polls are rigged, at all. Virtually all pollsters here are independent and not close to a party. And before the May runoff, the polls even showed a very slight Hofer lead on average and he lost the election ...

OK. Trust those rigged polls if you wish. Obviously you haven't learned a lesson (Brexit, Trump,...)

I had to drive around the Zell am See area today and all VdB posters around here have been refurbished and "updated" to the new ones I posted above yesterday night it seems.

The new ones are really colourful and stick out along the road and read "Vote ! Instead of wondering (what's possible)." and so on ...

I think the "Vote ! Not wonder." is a good mobilizing poster that will bring the VdB voters to the polls.

I also spotted more Hofer posters around, but the VdB posters in the city and surroundings still outnumber the Hofer posters by about 10-1. It was the opposite before the first runoff.

Based on the posters alone (if they mean anything for voters), VdB should do rather well around here (after losing the district by 42-58 in May).

No. Those VdB posters will only irritate the Hofer voters and VdB will lose even worse.
