Hillary stood on point for a full 11 hour interview by the Benghazi committee, being the only witness being questioned. She stood calm, confident, and professional the entire time.

Nothing new came up at all in the Benghazi committee, lots of political theatre and partisan showdowns, but really there isn't anything that I'm aware of that could be used in this interview that could put Clinton into the negative.   I would say 90% of the Republican attacks focused on emails and Blumenthal.

I have to say that was quite an endurance test and Hillary came through on top. Congratulations on her well deserved win.

The Republican Party would've made good soldiers fighting for Adolf Hitler.

This story makes Hillary Clinton look really, really good. I'm not a Clinton fan, as I'm sure you guys know by now, but she just went through a brutal, grueling, insane 11 hour grilling broadcast continuously on live TV and, though I only caught the last hour-ish of it, I haven't heard of her having any problems today at all.

Yeah, I still may not vote for her, but she definitely got respect for dealing with this garbage all day.

Seems like, unless something she said today could be used to pull Republican researches in a new direction, Clinton should send a thank you note to the House. Everywhere I read, everybody is talking her up.

God, House Republicans are complete muppets.

This Benghazi farce hearing has probably put to bed the whole email controversy with it (something which is a legitimate issue albeit not as big a one as the GOP wishes it was) better than any strategy devised by Clinton's campaign team could have.

In the context of a picture like that the f could also be "face." Get on board with current slang, Frodo. Sheesh.

Taking a look at how the media is portraying this, it seems that no damage was done and it is possible that Clinton may even get a boost out of the hearing. The committee itself is getting a lot of criticism, even from conservatives. I wonder if Speaker Ryan will support the committee going on and on into 2016 or if he will ask them to wrap things up.

BTW, one indication that the hearings weren't going as planned halfway through FOX stopped covering them live and switched to commentary and playing just their favorite bits, while CNN and MSNBC stayed with live coverage all the way through.

As I said earlier, it essentially amounted to a free 8 11 hour commercial for the Clinton campaign. She should send this Gowdy chump a gift basket.

Hillary looked presidential while the Committee members looked petty. She also had a very good, stern voice pitch which didn't hurt my ears, as normally Hillary's pitch would do.

However, I noticed a problem in her appearance. She looked tired and old. That tired look is only going to get worse as the campaign progresses.

If you compare it to her January 2013 appearance before the House and the Senate shortly following her hospitalization, she looks downright peppy. And I think she's allowed to look a bit tired during an 11 hour interrogation by a bunch of former prosecutors. Most people were exhausted by just watching it.

Hands up who wouldn't look tired after 11 hours of that?

She was downright glowing after it finished though.

She looked visually emotional/moved while Elijah Cummings held his fiery speech. I think I even could spot a tear or two in her eyes. Wink She had to struggle to keep it together and not be carried away at that point.
And people say she's cold and calculating.

Don't worry. I only watched the last hour or so, and didn't even know it was (still) on. I only turned on CNN to watch Anderson Cooper lol. Tongue

I watched a three minute "best of" video. That was enough for me.

Tears won her the NH primary last time.
