Ryan Cleary is talking with Davis about running for the Tories.

Strategies: Chicken Little for the Tories, shrug for the Grits.

He fears a Grit juggernaut and wants "bleu a St. John's, rouge a Ottawa" to protect the province's interests from Trudeau. As for why, he's always been an opportunist.

Dissolution expected on Thursday. Abacus will have a poll out later this week, though CRA obviously preferable.

Danny Williams got 70% 8 years ago in NL, that's their record.  I think it might be here in Quebec, when the Liberals won 73% in 1919 and 74/81 seats.

Part of me wants to see a sweep. I remember being disappointed when Williams didn't 8 years ago.

Liberal rally in Placentia was cancelled due to a bomb threat. Grit campaign has been suspended for the rest of today, Ball headed back to St. John's.

That'd be the first time a premier lost their seat in post-Confederation NL history. Wowza.

Cleary's political masochism knows no bounds: down 74/16/10 in Windsor Lake.

Coletto suggests that he's bleeding a lot more than other PCs for precisely that reason.

Wonder if Abacus will find on Friday and if Forum does a last-minute Sunday poll. Might be shades of NB.
