I'm going to cut down on posting

Sorry, I'm making a thread about myself.

I feel in recent times that the responses to my posts are not very well received, as in more negative than positive, and I feel I don't contribute anything to the forum at all. I think I also come off as more negative or annoying than I need to be. As a result, I feel like I'm wasting time and bandwidth by posting on an internet forum that doesn't do me much good. I'm going to stop posting on most boards, and most topics that are opinionated and speculative (I may continue The Politics Test or if someone wants to take it over they can do it too). I will continue to occasionally post in election boards, but mainly for predictions, results, ratings, and the like. It won't be much. I have to use my time more efficiently, so I think this is a good time to start breaking the habit of posting 10+ a day of one sentence stuff and only post stuff that actually matters.

No, but seriously: I enjoy reading your posts, even if our views are very different. Yes, you post a lot. But, the quality of your posts are very good, in my opinion. Not just maps, by the way.

Regardless of post quality, everyone should post less. If you really are 17 (according to your profile), the best use of your time is not to post here much, if at all.

If you want to spend less time here for your own reasons, that would be understandable, since too much time here isn't good for anyone; I'm trying to spend less time on this forum.  But I certainly hope you remain visible here!  You're a valuable contributor.
