His campaign is lulz worthy and the so-called anointed one is barely pushing 5th place nationally now, she he gracefully drop out of the race now?

Yes.

Poppy Bush doesn't need to witness anymore of this abysmal campaign.

Finally, this question.

Yes, please. He's an embarrassment to the GOP establishment, is running a remarkably poor campaign, and needs to endorse Rubio to give him a strong enough bump in the polls.

I feel bad for Jeb though, he actually thought he could win this thing and that it would handed to him on a silver platter.

The GOP party is about Reagan conservativism, America have moved past Bushies, after Wall Street failures.

Yes.  His campaign is going nowhere.

I think his poor performance in the party is mostly due to the party not wanting another Bush as President.

I really do get the feeling that he doesn't even "want" to run for president.

If the establishment wants to win, Jeb needs to drop out for Rubio.

Problem is timing of drop-out. If a non-establishment guy stands any chance of winning NH, but a minus-Jeb race gives establishment some opportunity, he should drop out sometime before that primary, maybe before Iowa caucus. He'll stay until January 2nd half, at least.

I am sure the Bush family will be gratified at how concerned you are for Poppy,  and I'm sure Bush will heed your advise, NOT!...there's no incentive, unless Vito Corleone can make Jeb "an offer he can't refuse" ....Jeb's got nothing to lose and making Trump's life as difficult as much as possible is incentive enough for the guy to stay put!

I voted yes, but he definitely still has a chance, and I don't see him dropping out before Iowa.

Ironic, since it's actually the culture of deregulation that Reagan largely ushered in that was responsible for the Wall Street failures.

I'm almost leaning No just because I'm excited to see what this flailing mess has next. But obviously yes - his campaign has been an unmitigated disaster, one I don't think many could've predicted. And thanks to The Wizard of Wharton, Jeb Bush has a 0% chance of winning the nomination.

I'm not really sure because I don't know what his priorities are. If his priority is to draw attention to himself, then no, he should stay in. But if his priority is to elect a Republican President, then yes, he should drop out.

From my point of view, of course he should stay in. He's splitting the establishment vote, hurting the Republican brand, and if he somehow wins the primary, he'll lose to Hillary easily. (No, I'm not a Democrat but I still think they're better than the Republicans.)

Can someone name a candidate who quit a run for president for the good of the party?

Bush will quit if he thinks he has no chance but as long as he can win the establishment sub-primary, he has a chance which is why he's trying to damage Rubio.

Yeah, it's also why John Edwards passed on a run this time.

True. Edwards probably considered himself to have only a 30% chance to win so his case isn't comparable to Scott Walker who considered himself at least a 50/50 shot to be the nominee but selflessly stepped aside for the good of the party and for our sins.

I've officially given up.

The campaigns of Jeb Bush and John Kasich have already imploded. Considering Marco Rubio's history of gaffes and akward moments, his campaign is a ticking time-bomb that's just waiting to explode. It looks like Donald Trump (or some other non-establishment Republican) will be our nominee.

I hate the Republican Party.

We deserve to lose in 2016.

It looks like I'm Ready for Hillary! Hillary 2016!
