The Beshear's are from out west, so that explains all the blue out there. Edelen generally hit his marks in eastern-central KY, but for some reason, performed badly near Cincinnati.
Why was the 6th favorable to the Democrats except for Treasurer and Ag Commissioner?
For Ag Commissioner Quarles is from Scott County, just north of Lexington. CD6 was his best district
in the primary. I'm not really sure about the Treasurer's race. CD6 was the only district to vote against Ball in the primary.
