Like ... the baby in that photo or Adolf Hitler before he had done anything wrong?

Anyway, assuming the latter, no I could not.  I don't believe in Minority Report style "justice," and there's always the chance something goes differently or someone can change him in time.  If some time traveler came to take me out tomorrow because of these terrible things I was allegedly going to do in the future, I'd be pretty p^ssed, LOL.

No.

I'd just abduct the baby and put it on the doorstep of a well-off, educated Socialist Party-leaning couple.

A different lifestyle for baby Hitler would likely make him a totally different person later.

Of course much more needs to be changed to alter WW2's outcome than chaning baby Hitler's future life. Nothing guarantees that with Hitler out of the way there won't be another Hitler-esque person who does the same thing like he did (or even worse).

Besides, altering the past would always be a bad idea ...

No, since time-travel is impossible.  Besides, as I've stated before, if one really wants to avert the unpleasantness that follows WW I, you really need to keep Wilson from being President if you want to have a chance to avert both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Killing Wilson would be one way, but perhaps killing Taft in 1911 would be better. I'd be sad to do that as he was later one of our better Chief Justices, but in any TL in which Teddy gets elected in 1912, it's hard to see Taft later becoming Chief Justice anyway.

Why all of this talk about assassinating baby Hitler?

Why not go back in time and assassinate Karl Marx and/or Joseph Stalin?

No, i'd prefer to kill him in the early 30s after he'd demonstrated himself worthy of being killed but before he was in power. On a similar note Ted Rall had a funny take on this: http://rall.com/tag/art-school

Stalin I see, but why Marx...? That's like invading a sovereign nation after a terrorist attack and saying that it was caused by this nation, even though this country had nothing to do with it and it violated every ideal the terrorized country holds. Luckily, like this scenario, that will never happen.

Karl Marx created communism which led to the deaths of millions of people. If I'm being too hard on him, Vladimir Lenin would be a more suitable target.

If we're going to assassinate Hitler, why not the guy who created Wahhabism as well?

I think that my going back in time will cause enough butterflies to prevent what Hitler did, so no, I would not kill baby Hitler.

No, I'd rather have Hitler died in WWI.

Meh, butterfly effects would probably make it pointless.

I wouldn't. If anything, I think his living situation and his welfare as a youth played a role. The death of his mother greatly affected him. I'm sure being abused by father did him no favors. While there is no justification for the atrocities he committed, perhaps he wouldn't have used such tactics if he wasn't abused and his mother had lived.

No, what I would do though would be to travel to Bavaria in 1914, enlist in the same regiment as Hitler and then in the heat of battle when noone was looking just shoot him in the back.
