I voted a Democrat, but I don't have any confidence in that.  After the legislative elections next year, we'll have a clearer view.  Rauner has brought alot of cash into the Illinois GOP that wasn't there before.  He's also as much 'boss' as Madigan is of the Dems.  The first look we'll get is at the end of the month when the filing period closes for State Legislative Races.  We'll see what races there will be-after that, we see who gets challenged over their ballot position.  My gut is that the GOP will have more 'challenges' than the Dems this time around as Rauner will not want tos pend money on GOP primaries.

How about Barack Obama? He will be only 57 years old.

It would probably be the biggest piece of cake in the world for him after what he has had to go through the past 7 years. He would probably even enjoy it! But he is just going to want to play golf, go to Bulls games and watch his girls grow up.

He could implement his liberal agenda at the state level without Republican opposition.
And, boy, I'd be outta here.

Bye

IL is a blue state and far more left wing, as well as MN. I expect Dems to win with a credible candidate, which Quinn wasnt in 2014.
