In continuing the idea of the 10 best presidents thread, I've created a thread dealing with the ten bes people to be President.  They didn't have to serve the country well, just be a good person.

Here's mine in no particular order:

John Adams
Harry Truman
Jimmy Carter
Herbert Hoover
Eisenhower
John Quincy Adams
James Buchanan
Abraham Lincoln
George H.W. Bush (kind of surprising, I know)
Martin Van Buren

Why?  Grant was not personally involved in any of the scandles surrounding his administration.  He was just inept.

He was a very kind person. Never rose his voice, never acted cold to anyone. He was very humble and had great self dicsipline. He was a good person but a terrible President. He should have just been Mayor of Galeena, like he joked about.

Are you kidding me?  I agree FDR, Clinton, Kennedy, and LBJ were good Presidents, but they were not very good people.  FDR had tons of mistresses, as did Kennedy.  I have a book that says Kennedy is once quoted as saying, "I get a migraine if I don't get a foreign piece fo ass every night."  Also, LBJ has allegations against him for cheating in elections.  Clinton's problems are pretty obvious.

I'm sorry. I took it too far. I nearly made the same mistake!
