I think Rubio's stock improved, but (and I say this as a solid Rubio backer since the start of the campaign) that's not sufficient to guarantee the Presidency for him, why would you even think that Huh

No, but I like his chances at winning the nomination, if nothing else by default.

GOP nominee Rubio? I would think so. I would still like to believe that the establishment will move towards him and away from the Trump and others crazy train. But I am starting to seriously doubt the GOP primary voters will abandon their Trump obsession.

No.

His takedown of Bush was good, but answering the senate attendance issue by comparing himself with Obama and Kerry will not serve him well in the long run.

I am also conflicted on how he will look debating Hillary. Very high-ceiling, low-floor. Will respond to criticism well, but will look pretty inexperienced compared to her.

It is going to be a thing of beauty to watch Hillary lose to a one-term minority Senator who charms the electorate - again.

Absolutely right. Rubio has had a good run in the debates, and I believe he was the clear winner this evening. I think he would do very well against Hillary Clinton.

The Trump obsession is much more media driven than voter driven, mind you.

No, he has a horrible  record and one only need press it, and do it right. I feel like Trump will have the irons on him. In Florida he backed bills while in the state house favoring big business and rural/agrarian areas. One problem? He represented a urban district. Whoops?

He's like 2008 Obama without the charisma and narrative. I think he will be a better candidate in 2020.

I would be more willing to put money on the idea that Rubio will lose the primary this year, run for Governor of Florida in 2018, win, and run for President in 2024 after two terms of Hillary.

Yes, Marco Rubio will be the next president of the United States and I will take it one step further. The Vice President will be John Kasich.

If you are thinking Trump or Cruz,  ain't gonna happen Bro. ..either of those too get the nod, think of Goldwateresque kind of landslide loss or does that matter? Some of us Republicans want to actually win and not into kamikaze stunts😮
That being said, Rubio offers coherent ideas and not pie in the sky rim jobs which Carson the scam artist, Trump the blow-hard and Cruz the White angry guy who is a Hispanic pretending to be a White guy who was born in Canada...hey Cruz the Canuck😊

Rubio has been incompetent at his jobs, ignoring the concerns of his constituents for lobbyists and corporations and far more radical than others, being right in the middle of the tea party. He can't even be bothered to do his job.

The system needs its flavor of the month. By January everyone's going to be saying "Rubio peaked too early".
