The BLM movement does have serious issues that need to be addressed and I sympathize with them. But this way is not the best way to do it, it just turns more people off from them than it helps.

I do think that Cops though their behavior are responsible for BLM (mostly in Dem jurisdictions). By BLM is a terror organization.

There are legitimate concerns, but BLM advances the false narrative that the higher crime rates in black neighborhoods and amongst blacks is due to Law Enforcement singling them out.

The police are not a threat to law-abiding black folks.  They ARE a threat to the large number of folks in many black neighborhoods who are selling drugs and engaged in the drug trade.  The real threat to black lives comes from remorseless criminals amongst them who engage in gun violence.  Many of these criminals have little or no remorse for their actions and most of them are armed to the teeth.  These are the folks that most black folks in many black neighborhoods have the most to fear from.

Unfortunately, too many young blacks are employed in the illicit drug trade.  And, in many cases, their families are aware of it and either condone it or look the other way from it because the money the young drug dealers make becomes household income.  The drug trade in many black communities is what invites much surveillance and policing.  It's also the source of a disproportionate amount of gun violence, some of which inflicts tragic "collateral damage" in the shooting of innocent children, old people, and other innocents. 

In many ways, there is a denial contest going on.  Are the Democrats more in denial as to the REAL problems of gun violence in the black community and the exaggeration in the BLM Police Brutality narrative than the GOP is on Climate Change?  It's a fair question.  On this whole spectrum of criminal justice issues, the Democratic Party is no more willing to be honest with its base than the GOP is willing to level with coal and oil companies.  This dishonesty blocks a serious discussion of this problem.  A "Sister Souljah" moment is needed, but none of the candidates seem honest enough to provide one.
