Hey folks! Trash the '84 game I'm done with it. I've decided to make a very interesting 2008 Election Game. The premise is that President George W. Bush was.... assassinated on a trip to Baghdad, Iraq in 2008. This has caused a rift in both parties as the future of our great nation is unknown. President Cheney already has a low approval rating, can he survive a potential re-election bid? Will he lose his own nomination? Will the democrats or potentially a third party candidate save the day? It's unknown. It's January 1st, 2007.

Rest in Peace George Walker Bush (43rd President of the United States)
                             July 6th, 1946-September 4th, 2006

Democrats:

Senator Hillary Clinton- Speaker never again
Governor Howard Dean- Kingpolean

Republicans:

Senator George Allen Enduro
Senator John McCain- oldiesfreak1854
Former Pres. George H. W. Bush- darthebearnc

Independents:

I'll do George Allen, not because he's leading in the polls, but because that would be a challenge for me.

It was a cold December day in Washington. The trees were covered in frost, a newly sworn in president had stepped out of the White House along with someone.... Who was this fellow?, thought many people watching the widely broadcasted event. President Cheney took the stage. "Now our country has mourned the loss of a great leader, my ascension to the presidency... I'd like to introduce my close friend and the next vice president of the United States, Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, he will provide us with security as well as the experience we need in the White House.". Jeff Sessions walked to the stage. "Now my friends, I am glad to accept the vice presidency, however saddened by the events that caused it. We lost a good man a few months ago, he was a friend of mine. He was a friend of the current president's. We won't let this weaken us though. We will never back down. Thank you and God Bless the United States of America!".

President Cheney walking up to the stage.

The First Announcement

Wolf Blitzer: "And so there we have it folks, the first candidate in both parties in this race is Virginia Senator George Allen. He narrowly beat Democratic candidate Jim Webb in the Virginia Senate race this year. He is leading in the polls and is going to Iowa later on this week. On December 23rd, he is likely to get an endorsement from Former First Lady Nancy Reagan. Many more candidates are expected to announce their intentions very soon. DNC Chair Howard Dean is running for president, just breaking. His announcement is coming up soon!

December 28th, 2006-January 14th, 2007

John King: There are several declared candidates now such as Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean, Senator Hillary Clinton for the democrats. Senator George Allen, Senator John McCain and former President George H. W. Bush who is still mourning the loss of his son. This will certainly be an interesting race. The polls still don't matter right now but we have some very interesting news...

RCP Republican Primary Polling Average December 28th, 2006

President Dick Cheney Sad 38%
Senator George Allen Sad 24%
Senator John McCain Sad 20%
Former President George H.W Bush Sad 16%

RCP Democratic Primary Polling Average December 28th, 2006

Senator Hillary Clinton Sad 54%
Former Governor Howard Dean Sad 38%
