The Northeast Assembly seems to be having a ridiculously high turnover rate recently. RGN is the only Representative who was also on the Assembly a month ago, IIRC.

We can't help it if people are leaving the Assembly to take a higher office. There have been three vacancies since the December elections. Two Northeast Representatives have become Senators. One has become Registrar General.

We have always had times of great turnover in the Assembly - sometimes due to inactivity. Fortunately, we haven't had that problem recently.

FYI - I think it is the party Clyde was a member of when elected that matters.  That was NNP.  Was it federally recognized then?  And do we even have any NNP members left in the Northeast?

Apologies as I've just got back from training. My understanding is that as the NNP wasn't federally recognized; and because there are no other members I'll try and appoint a laborite to the assembly. As it currently stands we don't have a candidate for the election

IIRC, Clyde, evergreen, and Oakvale were the only three members of the NNP, and evergreen and Oakvale deregistered.

Clyde was the last member of NNP, I think (Oakvale deregistered and Evergreen switched to the Uncultured Marxist Party prior to becoming RG). As Clyde registered with Labor a few days ago, NNP no longer exists.

Governor Blair:

I wish to know if you support a healthcare system without an individual mandate, allowing people to buy healthcare across regional lines, and a healthcare agent in charge of making deals with private companies instead of an advisory build.

Also, what is your position on allowing regions to each produce 20% of the total federal amount of money minted into their own currency, thus devolving the currency slightly and allowing for devaluing of any regional or the federal currency to not have too great an effect on the economy?

As you can see below the Assembly passed legislation before that allows people to use private providers; and also buy from the Federal Market. I fully support this, my only concern is that it can lead to driving down the quality of Healthcare; as long as there's strong controls on insurance programs (as I've pushed for as Governor)

I'd also be opposed to a regional currency; even if it was in a smaller form. We need to be united as a region; and I believe the best way to do that is with our current plan; cutting taxes for working families, a public-private sector investment bank and long term investment into infrastructure. The most important thing is to get our regional economies working

I'm delighted to be able to pass the Northeast Budget; which at times proved difficult.  But we've achieved a great deal in this budget-we've cut taxes, increased spending on infrastructure, given our economy a much needed BOOST and passed a balanced budget during difficult times. The Northeast is on the up my friends.

X Governor Blair

Correct:
Therefore, as I'm now the only member of the Northeast National Party, I'm looking at returning to the Labour Party - to help rebuild the game following the passage of the New Constitution. The game does face a problem and the New Constitution gives the foundations to rebuild the game on.

In light of the emergency faced from extreme snow/ice in several northeastern states I've decided to pass the following actions

Again, apologies for my lack of activity. I've had essays/deadlines due this week, and lots to catch up on. I should have posted a LOA but thought I'd be able to get through it.

Thank you for the appointment, Governor. To prevent an extra special election, I'm going to wait until Thursday to officially swear in.
