Yes. I voted for Marcy Kaptur for US House and a whole bunch of Democrats for local positions in Ohio. I doubt I will be crossing over in the near future, however. The times they are a changin'.

I reluctantly voted for Eisenhower in '52, but that's all I can remember.

I have yet to vote for a non-Democrat in a major election, although my votes in 2014 were protests at a known outcome. Looking ahead to 2016 I can easily see myself voting GOP for the first time, if not for president than for senator.

Of course the only other election I voted in was '12, during which Romney's changing of his views didn't impress me, Mandel received too much outside money, and I actually identified as a Democrat at that time.

No but if I lived a couple blocks south in 2008 I might've voted for the Republican candidate for State House, a millennial female who I gathered was pretty hipster Christian-ish. (If you're going to ask why she was a Republican it's because she was also a Ron Paul cultist). Also I would've voted for the guy who ran for that seat as an independent over the DFL candidate for the special election in 2012, even though he was a liberal on every single issue the fact that he wasn't the Democrat probably meant the few Republicans who lived in the district likely voted for him, so he was sort of the de facto Republican candidate (there was no Republican running.)

Yes (R), when a Democrat is running unopposed, or if the GOP candidate is especially awful (which hasn't happened yet where I live).  Just look at my sig to see what I mean.  (I also supported Conway over Bevin in Kentucky.)

In the state House district right next to mine, the GOP candidate in this last election (2014) was a convicted and registered sex offender.  The Democratic primary was a two-way race, and the loser was rather socially conservative: pro-life and anti-gay marriage.  If I had lived just a few miles away in that district, I would've voted for him as a write-in over either the Democrat or Republican nominees.

I voted Democrat for Lt. Governor in 2009, for U.S. Senate in 2014, and for State Senate in 2011 and 2015. I voted in the Democrat Gubernatorial primary in 2009. I also voted for an openly registered Democrat for a non-partisan City Council Seat in 2014.

I voted for Cory Booker for US Senate when I started to identify as a Republican. The Republican Candidate(Jeff Bell) had just moved back to New Jersey after spending 30+ years in DC and he ran on bringing back the Gold Standard. I just never took a liking to Bell. I like Booker he seems like a nice guy and the way he talks about issues I like too.

I am. In our two-party system I hate everyone. But I hate the Democrats more. I am however willing to vote for sane Democrats I can respect and  I don't mind seeing bad Republicans lose.

"No (D)." If Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee in 2016, and the Republican nominee is John Kasich or Donald Trump, I will consider voting Republican.

No. Besides Sanders and O'Malley, Trump is the only candidate who has called for universal health care (albeit via a national market) and has been consistent in his opposition to the TPP.

I've voted for my Republican Mayor because the Democrat was endorsed by the horrendous police union down here. I will continue to vote in Republican Primaries because that's the only primary that matters here anymore.

The first time I voted (2006) I voted for a few Republicans.  I regret those votes, especially the one to reelect Mike Rounds as Governor.

Still haven't. I would probably never vote for a Republican for federal office unless it's a situation where the Democratic House incumbent is really corrupt and it seems likely that Democrats could re-take the office in two years. I probably won't ever vote for a Republican for a state legislative office either due to the role the legislature plays in redistricting.

Funny how that works.  No country is currently using the gold standard, which (in my mind) indicates there's a reason for it.

I vote Democrat almost 100% of the time. Voted for Arnold in the 2006 Governor's race.
