VT is a special case, because there is an interim replacement, then in Jan, 2017, a special election is held. There is an interim three mnth replacement by a gov, then a special election follows, in which Peter Welch will be elected. But, Bernie isnt going to be prez. He's going to finish his term, and Welch will be elected in 2018. This is Bernie's last tour duty as Senator.

What makes you think that? I think he could easily be one of the 90 something Senators.
