I would like to thank Governor Blair for nominating me to be the Interior and Agriculture Secretary.

For those who don't know this role covers Farming Bills, Rural Development, Regional Parks, Environmental Regulation, Energy Policy and Food Stamps.

In previous Assemblies, I have proposed improvements to renewable energy in the Northeast and I support increased environmental protection. I would, also, like to see an increased number of parks in our urban areas, to ensure that people have a spot where they can get out of city life for a while. I'd want our farmers to have increased wages for the work that they do - and for Northeastern businesses to buy local goods, where possible.

I look forward to answering any questions that the Assembly might have.

Clyde has been one of the most active members of the Northeast over the last couple of months, and whilst we've had our obvious disagreements I feel that he's the best candidate to serve as Interior and Agriculture minister-he's already set out an ambitious plan
