How do you think the current slew of candidates (including dropouts) would do in any past primary?

Assume their stances on the issues adjusts with time within reason and that there's no running against an reasonably popular elected incumbent. Also they are aged up if running before their OTL self is politically relevant or even qualified.

Overview of all the modern primaries:

2012: Certain irrelevant candidates were still relevant, Dem incumbent.

2008: Democrats heavily favored

2004: GOP incumbent

2000: Hillary is the incumbent first lady.

1996: Dem incumbent

1992: Donald Trump is running under the "Reform" party, opposing NAFTA. GOP incumbent.

1988: Popular outgoing Republican

1984: GOP incumbent. Hopeless for Democrats?

1980: Unpopular Democrat incumbent, fair game for a challenge. Trump can be either party or indie.

1976: Unelected Republican incumbent, fair game for a challenge. Trump can be either party or indie.

1972: GOP incumbent. Would Trump be the candidate to revive the American Independent Party?

1968: Who will represent the American Independent Party?

1964: Dem incumbent.

1960: Remember the big red button
