I was looking around and found this funny-looking.

This precinct encompasses Moody Bible Institute - a conservative Christian place of learning. It is surrounded by 70% Obama precincts. It was 69% McCain.

A family (moved here from Oklahoma City) friend's daughter goes there ... This doesn't exactly surprise me.  It's funny talking politics with them, because we both will always vote in the GOP primaries but have such ridiculously different views, really.

Related via the college itself. There was a precinct in St. Mary's, Kansas where Pat Buchanan beat out Al Gore in 2000. St. Mary's College is there. It's run by a fundamentalist Catholic group, the Society of St. Pius X, which is not seen as canonical by the Roman Catholic Church.
