How do we not have this thread yet? AAD asked a couple weeks back, but this is a critical thread that this site deserves as well.

How was your voting experience today?

I voted for Temple Owl-Kevin Dougherty (D), Christine Donohue (D), and Anne Covey (R) for Supreme Court (as I said on AAD, I wasn't about to vote for a Yale guy for that third spot even though he is the frontrunner), but to my surprise there was other stuff on the ballot I was unprepared for. Voted Republicans for school board as two introduced themselves to me walking in as well as GOPers on the Court of Common Pleas or whatever because I had no clue. A sweet old Democratic lady running for County Commissioner introduced herself to me as I was walking in, but then her opponent's mother got to me next and wouldn't stop telling me about how sweet her son was so I guess I voted for him too in a tough call. They were both on the ballot twice so maybe they can both win Smiley On the judge retention questions, I just indiscriminately voted Yes seeing as my researched "No" votes from 2013 lost in a landslide anyway...people sure seem to like their judges.

I was #281 in my precinct. This is my 7th time voting, but just the 2nd time (2012-Gen) that I did not have a single digit number. Great turnout plus me not being able to wake up early.

Probably should have included a "No Elections in My Area" section. Not sure if that's true for any Americans, but we do have foreigners at a minimum, so apologies.

No. Not old enough and there's no election anyway.

Yep. We only really had some county positions, city council, school board, port commissioners and a few initiatives on the ballot. Nothing too interesting.

Voted Absentee in Ohio. My vote was on the successful side of all three statewide ballot initiatives.

Yeah, not that there was much interesting to vote on. It looks like both measures, which I voted in favor of FTR, have passed.

No election for me to vote in as I live outside city limits and only municipal elections were held around here.

The State Senator and House of Delegates members I voted for won, so that was nice.

No elections where I am.

The last ones were in April 2015.  The next ones, not counting presidential caucuses, are in August 2016.

Twenty five years ago it would have been the election day for all the school boards. The school elections were consolidated with the April municipal elections in the early 1990's.

I didn't vote this year if there were any elections in my hometown Phoenix.

SD-7: Gary McCollum (D)

HD-82: Bill Felming (D)

SWCD: Daniela Cossu (I)

I thought you were registered to vote in New Mexico and not Virginia.

And yes, I recognize Gary McCollum's name because I'm stationed in Portsmouth and they kept blanketing the airwaves with ads for him and Frank Wagner.

In all probability I will be old enough to vote by November 2016.
I appreciate your concern though.
