And Cook County as a whole - city by ward + suburbs by township

Notice New Trier Township in the furthest northeast corner - likely the wealthiest township in the Midwest - over 60% for Obama

How things have changed. What once was a fiercely divided county between city and suburbs is now largely united in voting.



2008 was a Democratic landslide in the Midwest, and Obama is from IL.  I think you've already posted the 2012 map, so I'll have to find it to compare.

It'll be really interesting to look at 2016 IL without Obama.
