Huh, so Huckabee didn't make it after all. Well. Paul did. He should be grateful and do a non horrible performance this time.

Surprised they went with those four, but on Lou Dobbs they are making a point that all four are post-CNBC debate polls. The IBD and NBC polls were released after the debate but most of their data was before  the debate. But the CBS, ABC and Monmouth polls were entirely before the debate.

Based on the four polls they picked, here is the average.

Trump   25.25
Carson   24.50
Rubio   11.75
Cruz   10.00
Bush   5.50
Fiorina   3.00
Kasich   2.75
Paul   2.50

Christie   2.25
Huckabee   2.25
Jindal   0.50
Santorum   0.50

Graham   0.00
Pataki   0.00

Including IBD instead of CBS screwed Huckabee (sending him down to Kiddie) and kicked Graham out of the Kiddie debate entirely, but it gave Jindal a ticket to the Kiddie table. Also Trump now has the #1 podium, although with an even number of people on stage #1 and #2 are both in the middle.

That sucks for Christie, I think he has enough general credibility to have had a chance at getting back otherwise.

3 religious nuts and Christie in the lower debate. Interesting.

Surprised Paul was that close to missing the cut as well.

You know what? Changed my mind. Totally okay with Christie being moved to the undercard debate. Reason? Huckabee's there too.

I wonder if Huckabee, Santorum and Jindal will debate which one of them hates "the gays" the most.

Graham deserved to make the undercard imo, and Christie the main debate.

I know this sounds farfetched but I can see Santorum using Huckabee being at that debate to his advantage, maybe peel off enough support from Huckabee to somehow propel himself to future debates?

If Jindal manages a borderline-implausible sleeper victory in Iowa - he's not really doing any worse than Santorum in 2012 - it'll be funny to look back at who was on stage at this debate. Disappointed that Graham won't be there, though, and it's a real shame that Paul's moribund campaign is coasting into the main debate while Christie is getting excluded.

So what's the conspiracy theory over this lineup? That it's a pro-terrorist one to keep Graham out?

Especially if Christie also pulls off an upset in New Hampshire.

So Christie will tear up the undercard debate while the main debate will be small enough to be a little less chaotic.

lmao Huckabee; what a loser.

I'm very sad to hear about Graham and Pataki (even though I knew that was coming). It will be interesting to see Christie alone up against three right-wing loonies; I hope they get Bushed.

Now that Christie is in the Kiddie Table debate, it actually may be worth watching. At the very least, watching him yell at Santorum, Jindal, and Huckabee will be entertaining.

IMO, I think Christie could use the Kiddie Table debate to his advantage, he'll get more speaking time and he may have a breakout moment similar to Fiorina, he was already full of momentum in New Hampshire and his video on drug abuse has gone viral and getting universal praise and positive feedback from it.
