And now you know one of the reasons why as a Christian Universalist I hold the Bible (as well as other religious texts) to be the word of Man about God rather than the word of God. Still, I think it is telling that the passages they chose to use largely came from the Hebrew testament. The society Mohammed lived in was more similar to that of the Two Kingdoms era than to that of Roman Palestine. It is also telling that many nominal Christians aren't aware of the Levitical laws.

It would be more interesting if the experiment were done in a place with more Christians.
Not really. Like the Jaywalking segments Leno did when he hosted the Tonight show, anyone who caught on probably wasn't shown.

True, they're always selectively edited that way.  I'd say that if anyone from my church was caught on that, they could tell right away it was the Bible.
