Yeah. He was definitely short with the reporter but its not like he raised his voice. He just fumed about the media with an indoor voice and made a joke about the reporter possibly being stupid.

Carson's supporters don't need really need to turn on him, though, they can just move on to saying that they'll vote for Cruz or whoever while still liking Ben Carson a lot.

IIRC polling shows that Carson's (national) vote share is pretty soft. The fact that polls show his support plateauing or peaking about a week ago probably hurts, too, in terms of how this will be covered.

I seem to remember Senator Obama talking about people "clinging to guns and religion". I seem to remember President Obama talking about how "Americans have been lazy".

Do you think they'd grill him over the phone about that like this?
