I really feel that Bernie had a good run this forum. He was cogent, he was articulate, and he really talked about the issues. Hillary was a little stiff. O'Malley was... O'Malley... Anyways, thoughts?

O'Malley was okay, but him being first was actually a bad thing. Perhaps his poll numbers rise to 3-5% in SC?

Clinton was far and away the most impressive. She's possibly one of the most intelligent and well-versed candidates to ever run for president, and it shows.

O'Malley was mediocre.

Sanders was better than usual, I thought. One of his better appearances. But you compare the way he talks about civil rights and policing issues, just for example, versus the way Clinton does, and it's clear that she's a much better prepared candidate who has given significantly more thought to these issues and spent significantly more time really grappling with them in an intelligent way.

All three sounded competent, so the winner must be who won stylistically.

Hillary actually came across as the most personable and likeable of the three.

O'Malley was very intense.

Sanders had humor but almost seemed to be trying too hard to not be "grumpy."

O'Malley is very creepy because every answer is this robotic, recited talking point, and you can feel his brain compute which emotions go with which answers. And this forum was the worst for that sort of behavior, because it was supposed to be more of a sit down, relaxing, shootin the sh*t sort of a thing. I don't know how anyone gets a genuine vibe from him.

Is there a place you can watch the forum if you didn't watch it live?

I thought Sanders did the best. He needs to advance from his talking points and bring things down to a personal level, but he managed to bring in some humor and directly addressed the questions.

Clinton did fine, as usual, but it's very clear that she's not making any real promises and not taking any positions on anything: even about something as obvious as not having police arrest little girls.

O'Malley is trying a little too hard to get heard, but did okay, I guess.

I think http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show has the whole thing, but you have to watch it one clip at a time.

All three candidates made a positive impression on me, even O'Malley, whom I vehemently dislike. And Rachel Maddow was great, too. She's the first person to host a debate in this cycle without looking like an overly hostile, attention-starved loser.

I even liked the format. Debates tend to be gimmicky garbage. More televised forums, please.

O'Malley was his same robotic self.    Nothing new there.

Bernie did pretty good,   he gave good reasoning on how he could win the general election, which is something I think he REALLY needs to focus on going forward.

Clinton probably was the most enthusiastic.    I found her to have the most emotion of anyone.

Compared to bernie she gave no details to the questions. Also when asked about contributions from wallstreet and payed speaches she dodged the question. Bernie seemed the most sensire and likeable.

I liked the format as well, and I wish they would do this when the GOP field greatly reduces.

I just watched it and I thought all of the candidates did pretty well, along with Rachel Maddow. I was probably biased towards liking Clinton's answers more, since I agree with her on most issues, but I actually thought O'Malley did the best job of the night at appealing to undecided primary voters. So I vote him.
