Absolutely not -- I haven't lived in Illinois since 2005. When I first signed up for this forum, in 2009, I did identify more with Illinois than Ohio (where I've lived most of the time since 2005, and full-time since 2009), but that's definitely no longer the case. My Illinois avatar is what TV Tropes would call The Artifact.

Yes, and I've lived in MA for a long time. I tend to change my avatar even when I'm in a state for a day, just because I'm sick of having an MA avatar all the time.

Yeah, my avatar is where currently, although I haven't lived here that longand change it when I am currently visiting another state. TBH I don't think I really "identify" with any state, although I was born in and for most of my life lived in Nevada.
