Personally, my avatar does not correspond to my party registration; it corresponds to my overall ideology.

My adult privilege made me forget the "not registered/not old enough" option. Feel free to check "no/American" or "other" as you see fit.

I live in a state without party registration, but my avatar does represent the party I usually support, so I voted yes.

No, American. Registered Democrat but only so that I can vote in primaries.

Illinois does not have party registration, afaik. I was a registered Democrat from 2010 until 2014.

As TNF said, Illinois doesn't do party registration, so I am registered with no party.

If Illinois did so, I would be registered Democrat in the state of Illinois. So I voted yes.

Other. I'm not a registered member of any party, although I usually vote Democratic - enough so that it would be misleading to have an I-WA avatar.

No, party registration is barely a thing here (open primaries/multiparty elections)

Georgians don't register by political party, but I am very much an official card-carrying Democrat, so no.

No as Minnesota does not have party registration.

Question is very badly worded for that reason.

Georgia has no partisan registration and if it did my partisan affiliation would depend almost entirely on how it would determine my eligibility to vote in partisan primaries

In general elections always vote almost exclusively for Democrats and I have campaigned for numerous Democratic candidates in the past. I selected my avatar mostly to keep it identical to Adam Griffin's but also as kind of an indicator that I consider ideology first and that from my perspective the Democratic party candidates are generally just the "lesser of two evils" (but still one that I'll gladly vote for in this two party system of ours)

Shame I couldn't vote for two options. I'm not American, but my avatar reflects the US party I support and the party I support in the Netherlands.

If I could do an avatar for just Orleans Parish I would, but I can't and I don't wish to claim the whole state, so I don't use one.  Rude and parochial I guess, but I have no plans to run for statewide office.

Card carrying Labour member but I'm a shameless social democrat so god knows where I belong. Although I'd be a democratic hack, and probably on the progressive wing (not a sanders fan though)

Virginia has no party registration per se, but if it did, then most certainly my avatar isn't lying to you.

Yes, I have been a registered Republican since I turned 18 (in the state of Iowa).  I will remain a registered Republican regardless of how I vote on election day in 10, 20 or 30 years ... kind of the inverse of ancestral Southern Democrats.

I've voted Green more often than not in France, but I've never voted Green in Canada at any level. Of course the concept of "party registration" is very American and makes no sense in any other country.

No. Party structure in Russia is absolutely different from American one (i would be moderate Indie in US, but in Russia i am "pro-West far-rightist").....
