Hickenlooper doesn't strike me as the guy to do this, but would Colorado Democrats attempt to put a rising star in the Lieutenant Governor's position in order to make them even more viable for the Governorship?

It's just the lieutenant governor. I want to give Republicans the benefit of the doubt that they won't cause a big fuss over it.

Udall would be good to make a comeback ala-Mike DeWine.

I'm guessing Mark Ferrandino, Michael Hancock, and Cary Kennedy make the shortlist.

^ Yeah, if it means Romanoff won't run again in CO-06, I could see legislative Republicans supporting him for this.
